Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
Foreclosure question: Florida res.
I bought my home 3 years ago. I was not married.
I was sent a summons which included unknown spouse and I filed for an extension.
A server is trying to serve my now, husband.
Legally we were married in 04 then divorced in
06.
I then bought the house. We applied in our county for a marriage license (#2) but never
executed it,
We did later get married in Las Vegas.
Is there any advantage/disadvantage to being married/not being married/ what proof do they have we are married.,,
Why do they summons him if the house is in my name?

They put him on the foreclosure lawsuit just to be safe. It won't affect you in any way in the foreclosure.
