freeze bank account

can a lawyer put a freeze on all funds in a bank account that belongs to two different people that are not married?

No, a lawyer cannot freeze any accounts. A judge can thought with a court order. This seems to be a similar question to one which you probably asked last week. If a person could protect their monies by simply adding another person's name to their account, nobody could ever collect on judgments.
