Friend in Financial Trouble

I was engaged to a girl and I added her name to my bank account so she could write checks from it. We broke off our engagement, but I have failed to remove her name from the account. Now, apparently previous financial troubles have come up for her and she was served papers. Can the company suing her lay claim to my account since she is listed on the account still? I also have some of her property in my house and storage unit, can they touch these things as well? What can I do?
