Friend owes me money

I loaned a friend $200.00 2 months ago and it has never been paid back. How can I go about getting it? The only thing is, it was cash and nothing was in written agreement!

We learn an old saying in law school: a verbal contract isn't worth the paper it's written on. Still, if you think the judge will take your word over his, you can take him to small claim's court.
