Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

on friends phone plan

I was on a friends phone plan, he added me for my birthday, he said not to worry about the first 3 months because he had nothing else to give me for a present. He is Now sueing me for the bills, i did pay him 50 dollars each month for about 4 months! but he didnt use any of that money for the bill! HE never let me see the bills- and just kept saying it was alot of money. Then toward the end he told me after the fact he did so, he was going to cancle the plan and i had to pay 200 for my phone and the past bills!! Whats going to happen, is nothing happening because of im not on the contract... and no written agreement, no witnesses... what is most likely going to happen?

He will have the obligation of proving that you owe the money to him. From what you explained, it appears that it is a matter of his word v. yours. It will be up to the judge to make a determination as to who is telling the truth.
