Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
I have someone trying to garnish my bank accts. One of the accts with my name on it is my daughters acct which was set up for proceeds fromher fathers wrongful death suit.my name has to remain on it till she is 21 according to the bank. They don't call it a trust acct., it's refered to as a Flutma acct. I just want to make sure it can't be garnished. Thank you.

If they try, you will have to oppose in a court proceeding.

You must file an objection to it. You should receive a form form the court on this, otherwise you may waive it. See www.ConsumerLawHelp.com on garnishment.
