Are your wages protected in the state of Florida against credit card companies/collection agencies once an account has been charged off?

No, just because a debt has been charged off, it does not relieve you from further respobsibility. It is up to the owner of the debt to decide whether they wish to take further action to collect on the debt but you still owe the monies and any legal action may be pursued subject to all legal defenses.
