Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

hello,

i am in forida.there was a recent civil judgement only against my spouse and not myself.we presently own everything jointly including our home(currently homestead). our bank accts. are "tbe" accts.my main question involves are cars which are titled jointly and there is nothing owed on either vehicle. can the entity that got the civil judgement which is in excess of $200k go after the vehicles? should they be titled only in my name? can the file any type lien against the vehicles wihout us knowing about it.? any other advice would be helpful. thak you

Not sure I agree with Mr. Wagner. I know that you can claim one of the vehicles as part of the homestead exemption. AND since the other one is paid for - I would have to get a second opinion on jointly held assets as to that one.
