Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

hello,i'm in florida a creditor took me to small claims court and i signed agreeing that i owed the money. i sent in information to the lawyer about my income etc. i see a few months later in the court system they filed a continue to writ. i am homestead exempt and my husband is unemployed its only me and him. are they able to still garnish my wages? what can i do to prevent this? as i am already in financial disaray. thanks
