Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
hospital bill
I just recevied a bill from a hospital for services I had done in 2003. This is 2007, 4 years later. Isn't there a time period for receiving a bill?

Unpaid bills can be sent to you at anytime. The hospital should have acted sooner, but there may have been some reason why it did not happen. Regardless, it is not barred at this time and you are responsible for payment.
