Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I have a Hospital bill and the Hospital and is suing me for to collect. But I have been making payments since August of 2009. If they have accepted all payments since I starting paying, due they have to accept those and any further payments. The remaining balance is $3445.00 I have a court date on May 14, 2010.
