Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

House in Divorce!

My husband and I are in the middle of a divorce. He is living in the house as I have had to move out to verbal abuse. Now he wonts me to sign over my half to him. I am unable to pay the payment on both a house the place that I am now living. What can I do? If I sign over the house to him will that clear me of this debit. In the divorce it states that the house will be sold. The mortgage company has no idea that we are in the middle of a divorce. I know that the house will not be sold for the balance of what we owe. So signing over the house to him is my best bet. I have not legal papers on this it is his word only. My attorny says that he hasn't heard from his attorney at all.

What is my best that I can do. As I know that this will hurt my credit. My credit is really bad already. I wont out of this divorce becasue he is the kind of man that will do what ever he wonts to get what he wonts. I need help. Please answer. Thank You, Diann

Re: House in Divorce!

Tell your attorney to enforce the order to sell the house. If you sign your interest to your ex that will not relieve you of the debt to the bank.
