Can they take her house

I have a friend that had a summons laying in her driveway from a creditor it says that if she does not respond that her wages, Money and property may be taken if she loses her property is not with this creditor.but can they take her bank account or home for this? the summons says posted but that was dated 2 days prior to finding it under her car. she did not sign for anything.

Yes. She must answer the summons and complaint immediately. She can raise the defense of improper service of process in her papers.
