Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Can my house be taken to pay off debt?

I would like to know if my house can be forcibly sold or taken from me to pay off a debt from a repossesion.

A judgement has already been made against me.

Thank you,

If your homestead is in Florida it cannot be taken for a judgement. Unless the judgement is a mortgage foreclosure or other voluntary liens.
