Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

My husband had a car reposessed before we ever met. The auto loan company filed a judgement against him about 5 years ago. Now there is a lien on my vehicle that we co-own. Is it legal for me to be responsible for his debt that he had before we met? Will they reposess MY vehicle?
