Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

My husband has a debt collection hearing coming up. He answered the complaint and moved for a dismissal (for standing). But -- while my husband speaks English, its not his native language, he's a senior citizen and has bouts of confusion. He would not be able to follow the questions and responses is a hearing setting. Can I, his wife, speak for him, read from his prepared notes, etc.? Should I put the question to the judge?

Your husband may need a translator. You need to call the judge's office to see what the judge prefers.
