is it illegal to run someone credit with out they're consent or signature even though they were given that person info from someone else

Obtaining credit reports can only be given with consent or in very limited circumstances. Would need more facts. It would be a violation of law to do so without these exceptions and would allow attorney's fees and costs. See www.ConsumerLawyerHelp.com
