judgement
I had a judgement against me that was adjudicated aginst me in fl in nov 2004. i was not served becaused i had moved to mass. I have paid the. My question is was the judgement legal. If it was not can I get this removed from my credit records. now back in fl.

If the judgment was entered, it was legal although it may not have been obtained properly. Service might have been made by publication which is a valid process of service. The only way that can be determined is for you to go to the courthouse and view the court file. If there is an irregularity, you can ask the court for a status conference and explain that to the judge.

You have paid the judgment. The matter is now moot. Be sure you have and record a satisfaction of judgment.
