Is a Judgement the same as a Lien? If so does the court or lawyer send some type of paper work?

No, but if filed properly with the County Clerk, it will act as a lien.

No. A judgment is obtained by court order after litigation. It can serve as a lien if a certified copy of it is recorded in the public records of the county in which property is located.
