Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

What about Judgements

I recently recieved a letter from an attorney about a debt I owed ,They advised me that ,If they didn;t hear

from me in the next few days ,My case would be turned over for a judgement against me .

If a judgement is made ,what can I expect ? to happen

Is there a possibilty of any jail time ? or is there

a non_ debters prison act ,I heard of this a long time ago They cannot jail anyone for a debt ,is this true ?

ThankYou

You cannot go to jail for nonpayment of a debt.

To add to Barry's comment, they have to go to court and win in court before they can obtain a judgment. If you get served with legal documents, please feel free to contact me by phone free of charge to discuss your options. Learn more about credit law by visiting my web page.
