Lawsuit Summons posted

My friend had a Summons put in her drive that says it was posted. It says if she does not respond in 20 days she may lose the case and her wages money and property may therafter be taken without warning .Can they take her home? also the paper was said to be posted and she found it on the ground 2 days after it was dated.there is no proof it was recieved, but if she responds and loses Can they take herbank account or Home?

Her bank account is with her husband and he is on disability that is the only funds that are deposited in it and she owns a small struggeling bussiness
