Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Lease termination due to death

My husband passed away in June of this year, at the time he had leased two cars, only in his name. As soon as I was able, I returned both cars. One car maker after being told there was no estate, charged off the debt, The second car maker who was notified in

September that there was no estate has now referred the matter to a collection agency who called today. In addition to verifying my husband's date of death, address and last four digits of his SSN, he proceeded to ask questions about other vehicles he had at the time of his death and what happened with is life insurance proceeds. I told him those questions were none of his business, he then thanked me and hung up. There was no estate, everything was jointly held. Can they come after me and can they ask those types of question? I was also told that they had sent me a condolence letter, I corrected him and told him he had sent me a demand/dunning letter. Can they collect when there is no estate?
