You need to answer the complaint or the court will enter a final judgment against you for the amount owed. Look at your contract to see if you owe the money. Failing to do ignore this is not a good thing. Contact the attorney who sued you and try to work out a deal--payment plan, pay all at once for a reduced amount, but never agree to something you cannot do.
