Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Once a legal document has been filed (default of payment on modular home, no property)is served & the recipent has 20 days to respond, how long does it take to be heard and decided on and how can I find out when it was served?

I do not know if you are saying you were served or was not served. You must answer in 20 days of service of process. If you want to know when the document was served, go look at the court file. How long it takes to hear a matter depends on the judge. Generally if it is a small claims case, the judge will send out notice of hearing or trial. If it is a court of higher jurisdiction, one of the parties must set the matter for hearing.
