Legal options for car ownership with 2 names on the title

My ex-girlfriend and I bought a car. Both our names

are on the title, but I am the primary and make the

payments and pay the insurance. She has not given me

money towards it for about a year. We broke up but

she kept the car. I continue to make payments so as

not tu hurt my credit. However, I would like to get

out from under the debt and sell the car. My ex does

not want to give it up. What are my options for

reclaiming the car and sel

The correct legal way is to have the car partioned or sold through judicial process. Do you still have a key to the car? Since you are also a legal title holder you could always get a duplicate key made and if possible take peaceful possession. Be careful on the second method. Good luck.
