Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Legal question concerning a bill owed

I received a cell phone bill, which was for a large amount of money. I was charged an enormous amount of money, because my plan was changed. I had been misinformed concerning the plan. I have never had any problems with phone bills in the past. When I received the bill in January 2004, it was for $781.99. I sent in a payment for $79.00 and wrote payment in full! It was cashed by the company. I have paperwork from my bank, and check photo copies. Is this bill considered paid in full, since the check was cashed, with the written statement payment in full? I was advised that it is, but I am asking to confirm. Thank you very much for your time!

Re: Legal question concerning a bill owed

Although it can be considered an accord and satisfatcion, I dont think that would be applicable in your case.
