Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
hi, we got a letter in the mail today about " Writ of Garnishment order" its for a credit card, so we caleed there lawyer and he wants us to fax or send him our bank statement and paystuds, so my question is... Is that a smart idea or should we do something else?

You should have a consultation with an attorney regarding your potential defenses , not talk with opposing counsel.

you should follow Mr. Slater's advice. Head to an attorney ASAP. If you are head of household and only making so much income, then you may not have to pay anything.
