am I liable too?
my husband has incurred debt. I was not aware of this until I started to receive phone call for collection agencies. My questions are:
can I be made responsible for any of his debt?
can a lien be placed against our home for his non payment?

No, you are liable for his debt. If the creditor obtains a judgment against your husband, the judgment will operate as a lien against your home. The creditor cannot foreclose on your home (unless its the mortgage co or he used your home as collateral). Try to avoid the judgment...
