Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I had a lien placed on my home in 2003.

My home was foreclosed on In 2014.

Final in 2015.

In April of 2015 a garnishment was placed on my paycheck.

I called to see why my check was short and was informed of the garnishment.

About a week and a half later I received documents in the mail stating that the garnishment was for 25% of my paycheck.

Until the dept was paid off.

Is this legal ?

To be informed of the judgement after the fact?
