Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

lien registration

We recently bought a water purification system and I found out through court records that the company that financed it registered a lien on myself and my wife. My question is ...does this mean that they have a lien against our house, or can they put one on, or is this just on us as individules?

If the system was put in your house then the lien is claimed on the house.
