Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

If I live in florida and I am paying someone who lives in N>Y> monthly installments for a car loan. Would the promissary note have to abide by FLorida Law since I live in FL and I'm the one paying or does the promissary note have to be under N.Y. law. Which form do I use?

It is where the agreement was made, unless the contract says otherwise.
