What happens when you cant make the civil deposition date in florida

You should call the lawyer who served you with the deposition notice and ask that the date be changed. If the lawyer refuses, you must file a motion to quash the deposition subpoena or deposition notice and explain your (very good) reason why it's impossible for you to appear at the deposition place, date, and/or time.
