Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
If someone gets married and one of them are in the hospital getting treated for cancer, does the new wife assume the responsibiliites since they were not married before he went in, and what about his credit card bills, is she responsible for those?

As a general rule, spouses are not responsible for each other's debts unless they signed for them. However, joint assets, such as a joint bank account, could be attached or taken by creditors.
