Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Married at 78 wife 67. State of fl. Are we responsible for each others bills and debts if one of us passes away.Even if all the debts are in sole owner of one of us?

As long as the debt remains in sole ownership. Note that if you add your spouse to credit cards, for example, she could become responsible for the balance even if there are charges from before she was added (and vice-versa). For debt remaining in sole ownership, when you die, your debts will be paid off by funds from your estate through the probate process.
