Won't matter where you marry her - you are not responsible for her debts but somehow the creditors will get you. Never have a joint bank account, never co-mingle your funds, never have joint credit cards. If you purchase a home in florida , be sure the title is in your name and do not use her funds to help purchase. Althought this is a homestead issue - a lien can be placed on the house and if you refinance they will have to be paid. They can not take your home, but they can lien it.
