Medical Debt for a minor

I have a medical bill on my credit score that was from when I was 16. It has prevented me from getting credit cards and loans now that I am 21. Are medical bills allowed to be placed on a minors credit? If not how do I go about getting this resolved?

Yes, debt from when you were a minor can be placed on your credit.
