Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

medical debt

My 83 year old mother is a Fla. resident and homeowner has my 55 year old brother residing with her and has been for years. My mother does not claim him (brother) as a dependent on her tax return. My question is .....Would my mom be responsible for his medical debt or any other debt he may have because he is residing with her. Thank You. Arleen
