moms death

my mom owes 19.000 unsecured credit card dept.her income is 1000.00 month from SS... she has a life insurance policy that i am the owner and beneficiary (her son) i am joint tenets W/R/S on her condo, she has a 11 year old chevy car and no money in the bank...she has no will...shes sick what happeneds to this dept if she passes, do i have to pay it? thank you!
