how do i get my money back from a auto repair shop that did not do yhe work.

The first thing you can, and should do, is simply to ask them for a refund. If they refuse, then you can go about other avenues. If you paid with a credit card, you can make a claim with your credit-card company. Other options include having an attorney send a demand letter for the funds or filing a lawsuit.
