Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida
my mother passed away mar. 10 2013 and she had a reverse mortgage on home in Florida. I was served a summons on a foreclosure of her home. Now I did not sign any documents on the reverse mortgage, does this mean that I am liable for this debt?

No. Why were you served? Did her estate go to probate?

You were likely served as heir of your mother's estate. You should have an attorney review the Complaint. Even though you may not be legally responsible for anything, if the Complaint is worded incorrectly and the subsequent judgment is also you could have a difficult time proving it later.
Also, if there was a reverse mortgage who is foreclosing?
