Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I moved with my baby daddy when I was 4 months prego to tn and co signed a lease with him and our roommate. He told me lies about his income and been very late on rent keep oweing stuff. He ruined my credit by blowing up my card 800.00 and won't write me a letter that he is going to pay me back so I told him I'm going to report it that's not fair on me. He also tried to get big loans in my name I was fortunately denied. He hid my mail. Lied to me about his job. Our dcf case. Is pending I'm not sure what he told them and I'm wondering what to do so I left. He told me him and the roommate was going to pay rent and I didn't have to pay rent. He mental abused me and kept mail from me. I think he's on drugs possibly and I do not want him getting custody of our son.

You need to get to the equivalent of the Department of Revenue, those are the Florida people who sue for paternity and get child support ordered for you. That's if you are still in tn. If back in FL get to DOR and fill out the paperwork. Your circumstances are unfortunate, but it is highly unlikely that you will ever see any other money from the father than perhaps occasional child support.
