What can I do,had health insurance, company embezzled money,
no claims where paid, there was a court order and attorney in calif was handling it. I have 2 black marks on my credit for this and paid my premium every wk from pay check. I was told by collection company to pay both bills and they would write credit agency. now i'm paying for these bills twice, with my 2 years of premiums and cash from my pocket. I dont want marks on credit so i am gonna pay them, but can i do something to get reimbursed, company has already been to court. this happened in 2002 and i'm just getting collection calls almost 2 years later. both hospital and doctor where given a copy of court order sent by attorney in Calif. please help, all suggestions gratly appreciated.

Whether to take legal action may depend on amount of debt. It may be easier and cheaper to pay. If the insurance company is responsible and you are able to prove this, then the creditors claims are against the insurance company and not you. You may possibly need to take legal action to resolve/correct this matter.
