Non-payment of credit-card debt

what legally will happen to us if we quit making our payments on credit card debt, we live in Florida and it is getting to the point, if we make our payments, we cannot afford meds, nor groceries..we have 30K in unsecured cc debt.

The credit card company/bank or its assignee will sue you.

In many instances there are ways to beat the credit card companies, but it is fact speicfic. If years go by before you are sued ( 4 or more years), it may be wise not to agree to pay them if they contact you. You need to contact someone who does this kind of work. I do.

First, since its not a secured debt, but there are some implications. If you dont pay, your credit will suffer and the credit card company will likely sue you to recover the debt. In some cases your wages garnished.
