Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I just noticed a judgement on my credit report from unifund ccr partners, I have lived in Florida since 2011 and the judgement is dated 2012, At no time did I ever receive a summons about this. I used to live in NY in Ulster County and the judgement shows it was granted in Tompkins county Supreme?

Contact a lawyer licensed to practice in New York. You were sued in New York, even though you lived in Florida, so New York law applies.
