Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

NSF Check Collection

I have an nsf check of 2500$ written to me by person in arizona and I am in florida. Can you tell me what are my options- I heard abt this ,I dont know how to approach them

(1) give it collection agencies

(2)Sell the NSF Check

(3) hire an attorney- where in AZ or FL

(4) give it to State Attorney office

Let me know what i sud

I would contact the prosecutor's office in the county in which the defendant resides and see if they can bring a criminal proceeding. Most of the time they will require restitution as part of plea. This will save you the cost of getting an attorney.
