If I have an outstanding delinquent credit card debt and subsequently get married is my spouse then responsible for this debt?

The answer is "no" as long as your new spouse is not a co-obligor or guarantor of that pre-marriage account and did not benefit from its use.

In Florida, we are not responsible for our spouse's debt simply because we are married to that person. Even if you were married, and your spouse incurred debt in her own name, you are not responsible for that debt to the bank. A divorce is a different issue.
