Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

If I owe alot in unpaid credit card debt and at some point I get an inheritance, Can they seize my inheritance if no judgement has been previously ruled against me?

Or would they be able to get word of an inheritance and file a judgement against me before I would be able to actually get paid the inheritance?

Is 7 years the longest that they have to file a judgement against me in Florida and after that they would not be able to do anything?

A lot of questions here but not enough information. First, no one can file a judgement against you without filing a lawsuit and obtaining a judgement. If you are sued, see a consumer lawyer who handles credit card defense. You may be able to avoid a judgement. If there is a judgement, they can go after whatever inheritance you have. See my website on consumer law for more information.
