Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

I paid $15k for an ultralight aircraft on June 12 of this year. Everytime I ask for the plane, I am told it is not ready yet. I paid for the plane with a credit card and the past four months have been tough because of all the new interest the cards are hitting us with. The seller gave me his word in early September that it would be done by the end of that month. Today is October 13th and the seller has said he can't be sure when it will be done. Should I secure a lawyer and attempt to get my money back?
