Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Post-Judgment Deposition Duces Tecum

Appeared in court 3/04 re owning money to dental firm; agreed to make monthly payments; made payments. June '06 refinanced home and wanted to pay off balance. Loan processor received a ''Paid in Full Letter'' from dental firm saying I made full payment and satisifed lien/judgment on 6-8-06. Dental firm's attorney's sent me letter stating I must appear in their office next mo. and provide personal and financial documents dating back to 2001. They are still pursuing case. What are my rights here to get them off my back. I don't even have documents they are requesting anymore, nor do I want to take time off work. I sent them copy of the Paid In Full Letter by certified mail last week and was served with a subpoena today for a deposition.

If you have your proof of payment you may need an attorney to intercede. Good luck.
