Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Florida

Pretrial conference

I'm required to appear for pretrial of a supposed 1,300.00 credit card debt, the letter was hand delivered to me,first time contact with them,the collector is an attorney I guess hired by the collection agency,will it help if during pretrial I ask for debt validation? the reason I would ask for it is becaus I did make online payments to the original creditor(household bank)and there is no way I owe them 1300.00 could I ask them for my whole payment history ? this was about 3 years ago. thank u for your response.

Yes you can ask for copies of statements. Would be wise to hire a lawyer. Please contact my office should you need representation at the pre-trial.
